The iconic Whanganui Fest of Cultural Unity is back, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!
Join us on Saturday, November 11th from 10am to 3pm for a celebration of Whanganui's diverse and vibrant community.

The iconic Whanganui Fest of Cultural Unity is back, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!
Join us on Saturday, November 11th from 10am to 3pm for a celebration of Whanganui's diverse and vibrant community.
This year's Fest will feature a wide range of acts and food stalls, representing cultures from all over the world. Here's just a taste of what you can expect:
Food: Sample delicious food from all over the globe, including Māori hangi, Mexican tacos, Chinese burgers, mini donuts, Thai food, and more.
Music: Enjoy live performances from Samba ao Vento (Brazilian samba drumming), a Ukrainian dance group, the Whanganui Highland Pipe Band, the IPU NZ Kodama Japanese Drum Team, Born and Raised Pasifika (Māori, Samoan, and Fijian song and dance), and more.
Dance: Get your groove on with dance workshops from Hula Beatz (multicultural dance) and Dance Whanganui (Brazilian samba, hip hop, and salsa).
Other activities: In addition to the food and entertainment, there will also be a variety of cultural activities and demonstrations, including Fulan Dafa exercise demonstrations and face painting.
So come along to the Fest of Cultural Unity and celebrate the diversity of our community! It's the perfect day out for the whole family.
