Mainstreet Whanganui is actively involved in organising and promoting local events to help connect our community and bring people into our beautiful central city.
 
We currently manage the following community events:

• Caboodle 2024! – a vintage-themed community street party which takes place during Wellington Anniversary Weekend in January (as part of Whanganui Vintage Weekend). The next edition is scheduled for Saturday 18 January 2025. 

 

• Fest of Cultural Unity – a multicultural celebration in Majestic Square which will take place on Saturday 2 November 2024.
